Daniel Bluman
Three-time Olympian Daniel Bluman is consistently ranked among the top 25 jumping athletes in the world. A founder of Bluman Equestrian alongside his cousin Ilan, Daniel has remained vocal about the importance of horsemanship and oversees all aspects of the business while also traveling on the international show circuit. At the heart of every show jumping athlete should be a pure love for the horse, and that’s why Daniel and the entire Bluman Equestrian team welcome riders at every level of the sport that wish to learn and foster their passion.
Daniel began riding at a young age in Medellín, Colombia, before moving to Wellington, FL. He now bases Bluman Equestrian out of Wellington and North Salem, NY, with additional locations in Colombia and Belgium. His many riding achievements include the Rolex Grand Prix of Rome, the Rolex Grand Prix of Central Park, the Hampton Classic Grand Prix, and multiple five-star grand prix wins at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), among other victories.
The grandson of a Holocaust survivor, Daniel represents his Jewish roots and second country Israel in international competition, helping the country qualify its first ever jumping team for the Olympic Games. Daniel and his wife Ariel believe in the importance of giving back, and they collectively support various charitable organizations, including the Urim Therapeutic Center, which utilizes equine assisted therapies to treat patients of all ages dealing with complex PTSD, who live in the Gaza envelope area.
